A workshop by David Suivez & Ivana Luggen
Most relationships run on agreements nobody ever made.
A three-hour workshop for singles and people attending together. Make assumptions, expectations and differences visible — and turn them into conversations.
The premise
An expectation is not an agreement.
A lot of friction lives where expectations stay invisible: Who reaches out? How much time do we spend together? What does exclusive mean? What is allowed to change? Relationship Agreement creates room to notice and talk about these questions.
This is not about knowing every answer or being pushed into agreement. It is about noticing more precisely what you want, assume, need or do not yet know.

You may recognise these sentences
“I thought you knew.”
I keep waiting for the right moment.
What exactly did we agree when we became exclusive?
We keep having the same conversation.
I miss you, even when we’re together.
I thought we wanted the same thing.
I’m not sure how much of myself to share.
What you can take with you
More clarity. A next step.
Maybe you have postponed a conversation, hoped the other person would just know, or found it hard to begin again after a disagreement. In the workshop, you can sort through your expectations and boundaries, find words for them, and practise hearing another perspective.
- A clearer sense of what matters to you.
- A way to separate what you want, need and assume.
- Words for a question or request you want to bring into a conversation.
- One next conversation to continue at home.
The workshop does not promise to fix a relationship. You choose what you share and what you do with what you notice.
The shape
Notice first.
Talk second.
Individual reflection often comes before discussion or negotiation. You may work alone, together or with others in the room. One useful distinction: What is my preference? My boundary? My request? What have we actually agreed?
- Speak from experience.
- Listen without fixing.
- Choose what you disclose.
- You can pass.
- You can change your mind.
No forced disclosure. Touch and physical closeness are never required.

FAQ
Questions people ask
Do I need to come with a partner?
Not at all. Singles are welcome in their own right. You can explore what you want, where you feel flexible and what you may have been assuming. See the workshop dates ↗
Can I come if my relationship is going well?
Yes. You do not need to be in difficulty to take part. Even in a good relationship, there may be conversations you have postponed, assumed or never had.
Will I have to share intimate details?
You choose what you share, and passing is always okay. There is no need to describe your personal history.
What if we disagree?
You do not have to reach agreement here. Different perspectives can help you understand one another, while each person stays with their own boundaries.
Is this therapy or couples counselling?
This is an experiential workshop, not therapy or counselling. It can sit alongside other support, but does not replace psychotherapy, medical care or couples counselling.
What relationship structures are welcome?
People in different kinds of relationships are welcome. The workshop does not assume monogamy or ask anyone to follow one model.
Will we finish a written agreement?
There is no pressure to leave with a finished contract. The intention is to leave with more clarity, better questions and a useful beginning for conversations of your own.
Is there physical contact?
There is no physical contact in the workshop, and touch is never required. You can take part while keeping the space you need.
Can I attend more than once?
Yes. You are welcome to return; a different date may bring different questions into focus. Browse upcoming dates ↗
Can I give this as a surprise gift?
It is thoughtful to want to share the workshop. Because it touches on personal questions, please ask the person first rather than booking it as a surprise.
What if I want more privacy?
A private session gives you a more personal setting, individually, together, or for a Relationship Agreement. See private session formats ↗ If you are unsure which would fit, write to us ↗.
What unspoken agreement is still
holding your relationship together?
You are not your story.
